Ever wondered why people do not trust our government, politics or politics in general in the U.S.? If so, I would like a very good book to recommend to you. I think you will find interesting the arguments, and it is you think about why things are as they;
"In Defense of Government, The Rise and Fall of Public Trust" by Jacob Weisberg (very well behaved and studied political theory at Yale), Scribner Publishers, 1 Edition, (1996); ISBN-13: 978-0684816043.
This is a book packed with facts, figures, politics and past season information. You have to read it slowly, because it will be discussed so many interesting things. The book is wrong from a very liberal, but the author tries to establish its controversial points and has a decent job, his argument is a belief system. Mr. Weisberg, though never run a business, or running for public office himself, has a tremendous amount of opinions on the "Politics of the 1990s and how we in this place in time.
Many of his arguments may be disgusted with different views, but none of these arguments and deny their place in the political debate of our nation. The author is a "heavy handed" with his criticism of Republican Ronald Reagan, and calls the freshmen congressmen and senators who rode in on Reagan as a wave radicals. The author's views are what might be called a Republican hard-liners, "bleeding heart liberal" and the> Book also offers a relatively brief introduction to the story is such a need.
This is a wonderful book that I would recommend my ultra-liberal members of the family, and the far left socialists in our society, they love it and shook his head: "Yes, yes," the whole way. This book is to read a one-night, but should be read slowly to soak in all the information in the water. The author seems to be a great entertainer, and I want to buy him a cup of coffeeand eventually it straight on many of his views. Please buy this book and you'll learn a lot.
